Connecting children, building belonging.

At ID4Children we promote the inclusion, wellbeing and integration of migrant and local children and young people, creating opportunities for connection, participation and development in their communities.

Because building more inclusive, cohesive and caring communities also contributes to healthier, stronger and more stable societies.

Every child counts

Mobility transforms places. Integration builds communities.

Millions of children migrate every year in precarious conditions. Integration is what gives them the chance to thrive.

Child migration is a global reality. And arriving somewhere is only the first step: feeling part of it is another, and that is where a gap remains today. The data show the scale of the challenge, worldwide and in Europe.

Behind every figure is a child who, before they can integrate, has to start from scratch: without the language, without a network, without a place to belong. That is where we work.

Programmes

Different initiatives. One shared purpose.

We build, from within, the place where integration happens.

We design initiatives where the mix of young people from different backgrounds is the starting point: integration begins on day one. Each programme approaches that purpose from a different angle, with the same method behind it.
